Hello Anti-83 Members.

Exciting News Anti-83 Friends.. I am proud to introduce to you the Team New Mex Express Rally Team. I know this isn't the typical thing you see up here. But this is a close knit group and thought you should know about my effort. I created a blog (http://teamnewmexexpress.blogspot.com) to post up to the minute information and news.

I will be entering the 2008 Dustball 1000 Rally (think cannon ball/u.s. express) in August of this year and am doing my best to prepare.

Who we are:

Driver: Matt Ruybal
Driving Experience: Multi Regional and National Race Winner in Go Karts, INEX Legends, Mini Sprints.

Co-Driver: John Paul Gonzales
PCA Rally, SCCA Autocross, Go Karting

The Rally Car:

We have entered the 2008 Dustball 1000 Rally to be held August 9-10, 2008

We are looking for sponsorships!

So far team new mex express have covered the entry costs. We are hoping to raise funds/donations to cover the rest of the expenses for the Dustball 1000 Rally. The sponsorships and donations will be split between costs to support the team new mex express during the rally and preperations of the rally car, both before and during the rally on August 9-10, 2008

We are actively seeking sponsorships and donations for this unique opportunity and will donate a portion of our donations/sponsorships to a charity to be determined on need and by direction of our sponsors.

Sponsorship options:

Team New Mex Express is seeking:

20 sponsorships of $50: Your support is appreciated greatly. Your name will be put on the car.

10 sponsorships of $150: Your Support is appreciated greatly as well. Your donation will include your name/group displayed on our car and promotional items.

One sponsorship of $500: This gift provides the sponsor with a 12 inch by 12 inch logo/name sticker on the rally car, your name included in any team publications and a rally team shirt.

In-Kind donations are always welcome too!

Sponsorship deadlines and responsibilities

Sponsors are responsible for providing stickers/patches if they already have them on computer file of the design that we can use.

Deadline is August 1st, 2008.

Items we currently are looking for sponsorship:

- Food and drinks for the two day ally
- Transport of vehicle to and from rally site (optional) to Santa Fe
- GPS system to borrow/rent/purchase to help navigate the rally course as close to the target time as possible
- Uniden BCT Series Scanner
- Spare Rally Tire/Wheel.
- 6 Quarts - 10W/30 Synthetic Oil for the Rally Car
- Lettering/design help for the rally car. I am not so good with photoshop : (

Wow, That is amazing. Deadline is for money and/design or both! I am trying locally for design help, but I know you all on here have wonderful talents and ideas that may be better than anything money could buy.

We are going to donate a portion of the funds raised to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New Mexico. The support for this effort is great! Please feel free to post any of your ideas here or if you have any questions please send them my way.

* Design help is our biggest need and my lack of skills is apparent in that department.. Any of the funding raised will be to use in part for the effort and in part for charity. since these things focus on who has the best car i thought lets benefit people first.

Ok, I will hash together some ideas. Think Cannonball Run.. Gumball 3000. Our team name at this point is New Mex Express (New Mexico Express) I am awaiting rules on logos for this event. Like logo size limitations, placement, etc.. Should be available by this weekend is what i was told. I also want to put some Anti-83 logos on this beast too!!!

Ok, I fiddled with photoshop. I could not for the life of me get the express at the exact angle, but this is the basic vision i have. I hijacked the logo and photo. But I think a simple sillouette of the car and a New Mex Express or just Express logo wrapped on top of the car or around it would be pretty cool. Of course incorporate a Anti-83 in there.
