Ok, so Thursday night, my cousin ended up inviting her friend to the meet and greet. We were both disappointed, but it was fine. The concert was fun. It wasn't the best show I've seen, but it was fun. Our Suite is in the back, so our seats weren't amazing, but it was a good time. Rooney was decent... they just kind of stood around and played, but they sounded good. The JoBros were not energetic at all, which they usually are, so that was weird. Again, sounded good, but didn't put on a great show.

And then yesterday. Omg. Such a perfect day. Marianne managed to get my sister and I into the meet and greet with Rooney if I would hand out posters before the show. The tour manager called me as I was walking in, and I went to meet him by the stage door to get the posters. There were 10 of us in the group, but only my sister and I went to get the posters since the guy only had our names. After he handed us a stack, he asked if we were going to the meet and...

Ugh, what a pain in the ass. I would tell her that you turned down Kailey because you didn't want to hurt her feelings and that you told Kailey she should invite her instead. Period. You don't control Kailey and hopefully your sister will see that you made the effort.

As far as I know, my cousin doesn't know who she's taking to the meet and greet. She might still be convinced that I'm going with her, I'm not sure. I told her several times that I wasn't going to tell her who to bring, but I know that my sister would appreciate it a lot... but I don't know what will happen with that.
I'll fill my sister in more as the week progresses... I think once the concert passes and we get to hear the story of my cousin meeting them, I'll let her know that I wanted her to go, and then I'll hold it over her head big time.

... then again, I probably won't tell my sister how hard I tried to get Kailey to take her. My sister gets kind of jealous (wrong word... she feels left out a lot) because of how close I am with Kailey and Kensie. If she found out that I had not only been invited instead of her in the first place, but then I tried to convince Kailey to invite her and then Kailey didn't even...

Ok so this whole thing took another turn.
I was talking to Kailey earlier, and despite her continuously saying that "my sister has to be happy for me and understand that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity," I stood my ground. I kept reiterating the fact that I couldn't let my sister be disappointed about another thing involving these concerts.

(Katie, I know she sounds selfish, but like you said, she doesn't understand. She has 2 older brothers... her parents went through a VERY messy divorce when she was younger, and her brothers are very messed up from it... her oldest brother is 23 now, and he's been heavily involved with drugs since he was about 15... her other brother is just starting to straighten out a little bit more, but he's had his fair share of problems. Their mom remarried very quickly. Their dad married an AWESOME woman about 6 years ago, and she's been a perfect influence for Kailey, so luckily, Kailey hasn't had...

Even though she is inviting you to go with her, it's like it's because it's what SHE wants. Does your cousin have any brothers or sisters? If not, she probably doesn't even understand being close to a sibling (especially a sister) and not wanting to disappoint them. She just may not get the fact that you don't want to hurt your sister's feelings by ditching her again.

If I were in your shoes, I'd really want to go to the M&G. But I've been the one who got ditched before, and I've been the little sister, so I know what that feels like, too. It's a really tough situation and no decision you make will make everyone happy. But, you should make the decision that's going to make you the most happy and make you feel like you did the right thing. Don't let...

Seriously, this is probably the twelviest problem I have ever had in my life.
But I need some input big time.

(It's a VERY long story, but involves necessary background information.)
(And it's happening as I type this and is fresh in my mind, so I'm venting while I explain... and get wordy in the process.)

Backstory:
My sister and I have been big Jonas Brothers fans since wayyy before Disney owned their souls. They've been "our thing" for years. So when they announced their big winter tour, obviously we were going to have to go together. (The show is this coming Saturday.) We ended up getting AWESOME seats (4 of them) - row G in the center section, 7th row behind the orch pit dead center. Perfect. I had a huge group of friends going, but I definitely wanted to sit with my sister. My sister only had 2 other friends going, so she was going to give one of them the tickets for their birthday, which was last weekend. Before...
